Morning rain failed to deter crowds
Although the oval received its fair share of rain, it was hardly enough to turn the Ford GT loving crowd away. Many GT owners happily parked their cars on the great Wrigley Reserve in Glenelg South Australia and watched as strangers lusted after the Australian Classics.
It was nice to see so many people coming and going, fathers teaching their sons about the classics that made the Australian Muscle Car Scene. And the Mad Max lovers getting a glimpse of their favorite movie featured car.
Cars, Cars more Cars
Considering the Classic GT Falcons are few and far between, it was nice to see such a great turn out. Everything from XR/XTs to the newer FPV GTs (BA/BFs) lined the turf.
Closing Thoughts
Despite the still damp grass, the day turned out to be great. Nice overcast weather, perfect for photos. And the sun managed to heat up the earth even with those big clouds in the way.
